For about two months I've been regularly using a fairly good quality mini trampoline called a "Body Energiser" which I bought years ago through the Hippocrates Health Retreat in NSW Australia (now no longer operating). I was motivated to begin using the equipment again after watching a DVD of David Hall's promotion of his own mini trampoline which he calls a Cellerciser. You can find you -tube footage of David as well as info on his company website http://www.cellercise.com/
David works out for 10 minutes a day on his Cellerciser and he's been doing this for about 15 years. It is the only dedicated exercise he does. Although he's in his early 50's he is incredibly youthful, flexible and muscular. His posture is magnificent and he radiates vitality and enthusiasm. He claims that before he started, he had serious health issues as well as a double chin, pot belly, and weak knees and ankles.
After doing some Internet research, I discovered that the Cellerciser is rated as the second best mini trampoline in the world with the German made Bellicon the best (and most expensive). There is only one Cellerciser supplier in Australia - CL Services in Fremantle and the proprietor only had one unit, the bifold, on display. The unit that interested me was the Trifold which folds into a backpack-like carry case on wheels which can apparently be taken on flights as hand luggage. As I tend to travel quite a lot, that seemed like the ideal. Although the proprietor Of CL Services was able to organize shipping from the US to Australia for me, I decided to do it myself for no other reason than it would save the complication of going through a 3rd party.
I was a bit worried about the cost of the unit, $500 A plus $270 A for shipping - a lot of money to risk on a bit of equipment! All went well though and the unit arrived about a week ago (it took about 3 weeks to ship from USA to Western Australia. Wow, what a quality product and what a difference in comparison to my old "Body Energiser"! The unit unfolds easily and the feel of the bounce is so superior to "Body Energiser". The only adjustment required was to reposition 2 of the springs, as they had become slightly dislodged during shipping. I put coconut oil on all spring contact points too which reduced the springy noise considerably.
Although I've made considerable progress from diligently using the "Body Energiser" for 10 min a day fro 2 months (lost weight, more defined musculature and cellulite reduction), I'm keen to record my continuing progress using the Cellerciser and hopefully being able to post some before and after pics on this blog.
I hope this has been helpful to someone out there who is contemplating buying a mini trampoline/bouncer. By the way, if you are in the US, apparently shipping for the Cellerciser to anywhere in the States is free!
